Dr. Tahmasebi is an associate at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, where she specializes in breast, head and neck, gynecologic, and thyroid pathology.  Her special interest is in improving women's health.


Dr. Tahmasebi received her MD from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.  She completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at State University of New York (SUNY)/Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York; a fellowship in surgical pathology at New York University Medical Center, New York, New York; and a fellowship in gynecologic pathology at Montefiore Medical Center/Jack D. Weiler Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.


Dr. Tahmasebi is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
