Dr. Liu is an Associate of Geisinger Medical Laboratories at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville Pennsylvania. She is also on the faculty of the Geisinger Cytopathology Fellowship Program and serves as the director of Immunhistochemistry.

Education:

She received her MD from Wenzhou Medical College, Zhejiang, P.R. China, in 1983. Dr. Liu completed residency training in OB/GYN and Wenzhou Medical College and fellowship training in the Practical Use of Laparoscope at Shanghai Second Medical School - Xinhua Hospital Department of OB-GYN. She also completed fellowship training in OB/GYN at Beijing OB/GYN Hospital, Beijing, P. R. China. Dr. Liu completed her pathology residency at the Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and cytopathology fellowship training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Certifications:

Dr. Liu is board-certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology as well as cytopathology. She specializes in cytopathology, cervical gynecologic, gastrointestinal, thyroid and genitourinary pathology .
