Centrifuge and immediately separate serum specimens from the cells into sterile, plastic, screw-capped vial(s). Must be separated within 48 hours of collection.

Room temperature: 72 hours. Refrigerated: 21 days. Frozen:4 months.
Rejection criteria:
Stability limits exceeded. Hemolysis, icterus, lipemia.
