Serum and urine immunofixation are primarily used to aid in the detection of monoclonal gammopathies. Monoclonal gammopathies have association with diseases such as multiple myeloma, lymphomas, leukemia, amyloidosis and Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia. | |
