State "appointments' when prompted at the menu. GMC: Patients call 570-271-5620 to schedule an appointment with Fertility. Testing is performed in the Fertility Clinic at GMC. GLH: Bring specimen to the 4th floor outpatient lab Monday-Friday (no holidays) 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. No appointment is needed. GBH: Bring specimen to the 1st floor outpatient lab Monday-Friday (no holidays) 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. No appointment is needed. Gray’s Woods & Scenery Park locations: Bring specimen to the outpatient lab Monday-Friday (no holidays). No appointment is needed. |

Transport temperature: |
Keep specimen as close to body temperature as possible during transport, such as inside the shirt or coat. | |
Specimen stability: |
Specimen should be delivered promptly to testing laboratory within 60 minutes of collection. A sample that is refrigerated and stored at 4°C can be accepted for sperm count only (for up to 12 hours after collection) but not for motility assessment. | |
