SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Specimen processing instructions:
Allow to clot. Centrifuge at 1100-2000 x g for 10 minutes at room temperature. Specimen must be spun within 3 hours of collection. Do not uncap or aliquot. 
Transport temperature:
Refrigerated.
Specimen stability:
Unopened, centrifuged SST tube, stable 3 days refrigerated. Unspun and unopened in SST tube stable 3 hours at room temperature or refrigerated.
Rejection criteria:
Stability limits exceeded.
