Vitamin D3 and Vitamin D2 are the most abundant forms of vitamin D in the body. Vitamin D3 is synthesized in the skin while D2 is derived from nutritional sources. D3 and D2 are converted to 25OH vitamin D in the liver. 25OH Vitamin D is the best indicator of vitamin D nutritional status. | |
