If the amniotic fluid AFP MoM is greater than or equal to 2.0, additional tests, Acetylcholinesterase and Fetal Hemoglobin, will automatically be added (CPTs 82664, 83033), and performed at an additional charge. This test may be replaced by other Bill Codes, if the complete study cannot be performed, or if the specimen does not yield mitotically active cells for analysis. | |
