THIS IS ONLY TO BE ORDERED BY SOLID ORGAN TRANSPLANT DEPARTMENT. Only 6 mL pink-top EDTA tubes are acceptable for Add-On testing. Specimen must be labeled with patient's first and last name, medical record number or some unique other identifier (e.g.,billing number, NOT date of birth). Date of collection and phlebotomist identification (full name or tech ID) must be available. Positive patient identification must be assured. | |

Do not centrifuge or aliquot. | |
Transport temperature: |
Preferred specimen: Room Temperature for 24 hours. If greater than 24 hours, specimen must be stored and transported at 2-8°C. | |

Specimen must be less than 10 days old for testing. | |
Rejection criteria: |
Tube containing gel separator. Incomplete label ID (see specimen collection notes). | |
