SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Specimen processing instructions:
Allow serum to clot. Centrifuge to separate serum. 
Transport temperature:
Refrigerated if testing is to be done within 7 days.
Specimen stability:
Stable 7 days at 2-8°C. Frozen: 3 months.
Rejection criteria:
Specimen will be rejected if stability limit has been exceeded or if specimen is hemolyzed, lipemic, or severely icteric. Add-ons available only to unopened tube.
