Dr. Novak is the Associate Director of Transfusion Services and the Director of the Geisinger Blood Center.

Education:

Dr. Novak received her MD from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed a residency in family practice at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.  She completed a residency in clinical pathology at Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, and fellowship training in transfusion medicine at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is board certified in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine.
