Dr. Grant is an Associate of Geisinger Medical Laboratories at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. She serves as the system director of the hematology and coagulation laboratories and is also on the faculty of the Geisinger Pathology Residency Program.

Her areas of specialization include apheresis, coagulation, hematopathology, and transfusion medicine.

Education:

Dr. Grant received her D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She completed most of her training in the Greater Philadelphia area, including a transitional osteopathic internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine, an anatomical and clinical pathology residency at Temple University Hospital, and a transfusion medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She also completed a second fellowship in hematopathology at University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, Vermont.

Translation research in hematologic diagnostics to support evidence-based intervention that focuses on improving outcomes for anemia and sepsis.
