Specimen processing instructions:
Serum or plasma specimens should be fresh, nonhemolyzed, nonlipemic, and should not be thawed repeatedly and refrozen. 
Transport temperature:
Refrigerated.
Specimen stability:
Room Temperature: 8 hours. Refrigerated: 7 days. Frozen: 30 days.
Rejection criteria:
Stability limits exceeded. Hemolyzed or lipemic specimens. Specimens transported at room temperature.
