Specimen processing instructions: |
The ThinPrep vial is labeled with two identifiers (patient name and medical record number). After sampling, the spatula, brush or broom is swished and swirled in the PreservCyt solution. The vial with cellular suspension is submitted to the laboratory. The collection device is not submitted in the vial. | |
