4 mL green/green-top (sodium heparin) tube
3 mL lavender-top (K2 EDTA) tube

Specimen required:
3 mL aliquot plasma or serum; minimum 1.2 mL. Please submit a separate frozen aliquot for this test. It may not be combined with any other test requiring a frozen aliquot.

SPECIMEN PROCESSING
Specimen processing instructions:
Centrifuge and immediately separate plasma or serum specimens from the cells to clean, plastic, screw-capped vial(s). 
Transport temperature:
Frozen (preferred) or refrigerated.
Specimen stability:
Room Temperature: 3 days. Refrigerated: 1 week. Frozen: 1 months (-20ÂșC).
Rejection criteria:
Stability limits exceeded.
